Phil Samba, a passionate HIV activist, educator, writer and host of The Other Blue Pill podcast, is on a mission to shed light on the lesser-known history of PrEP (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) and its delayed introduction into the UK’s National Health Service (NHS). Through his work, Samba aims to dismantle systemic inequalities in healthcare, especially within Black and LGBTQ+ communities, while raising awareness about the importance of sexual health education and the need for inclusive, stigma-free healthcare services. As a senior consultant at PrEPster, a UK-based organization that advocates for wider access to HIV prevention methods, Samba’s influence in the public health sector continues to grow. Through his podcast, advocacy, and consulting work, Samba is making waves in the world of HIV prevention, creating pathways for marginalized communities to access the care they need. Maram's passion and dedication to the education and empowerment of Arab girls through Flamenco was documented by The Sassy Show through a creation of illustrated stories as well as this video montage of the many pupils at Andalus School.

Patterns of Self is a Vancouver Canada based editorial shoot illuminating both the sides of oneself; dark and light, black and white, masculine and feminine. The dichotomy of black and white was used in Patterns of Self through PatternNation's hand painted canvas garments and non-binary model Helen Marley’s expressive portrayal of both the fem and masc sides of their being. This editorial looks at the knowledge of self, love of self and understanding of self, these ideas are directly referenced in the image of Helen’s kiss with themselves. Creative direction Dosh Osholowu of Toronto member of Jungle3ribe brings his unique black and white esthetic into the mix and photographer Vaspaan Shroff from Mumbai specializes in surrealism, post-production, and animation. Makeup artist and Model team Lennox Campbell and Helen Marley often collaborate as they both play with concepts around gender and identity politics in their work, their ideas around the perception of self directly informed Patterns of Self. All of these elements are brought together byPatternNation’s mural, painted canvas garments and black and white jewelry to create a truly surrealist effect. Fashion Designer and Stylist Irina Voinea is reshaping the image of Romania through her own iconic taste. Witness the creative mastermind at work in Sassy's short portrait film. Sassy made a trip to Bucharest last May to document Voinea's 'ICONIC' Fashion Show, sharing a glimpse into her working life and the dedication that fuels her designs. Sitting alongside this short portrait video is a narrated poem by The Sassy Show's founder Bethany Burgoyne, written in response to her personal experience of being welcomed into Voinea's environment.
